How Probend collects, uses and looks after your personal information.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Probend (“we”, “us”) is a CNC tube bending business at 53 River Street, Invercargill, New Zealand. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our work, and how we handle it.
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, carry out and deliver your job, invoice you, and keep the business records the law requires. We won’t send you marketing unless you ask us to.
We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information. We only share it with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host, email provider and accountant, and only as far as they need it. Some of these providers, including Google (maps on our Contact page) and our website host, may store information on servers outside New Zealand. Where that happens, we choose providers that protect information to a standard comparable with New Zealand’s.
The map on our Contact page is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies; see Google’s privacy policy. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, using cookies that don’t identify you by name. Links to other websites, such as our Facebook page, are covered by those sites’ own privacy policies.
We keep your information in our email and business systems, protected by passwords and limited to the people who need it. We keep quote and job records for as long as we need them for your work, and business and tax records for the seven years New Zealand law requires. After that we delete or securely destroy them.
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email office@probend.co.nz or call 027 326 8412. We’ll respond within 20 working days.
If you have a question or concern about how we’ve handled your information, contact us first at office@probend.co.nz. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
